| Where ya been? |
That’s probably the question that is being asked, and definitely should be asked.
I haven’t had a stint of absence this long since Ethiopia and it’s rather embarrassing. So, give me a chance to fill you in on the recent happenings of Amy Gwaltney, or Mrs.Cherry-to-be…whichever you prefer!
After our engagement, life hit the ground running and I’ve been trying to keep up ever since. Between a visit home, planning a wedding, job searching, trying to constantly take photos, keeping up with daily life all the while dreamin’ it up…my cyclical mind hasn’t had a chance to calm down.
So here’s a quick fact sheet for you:
- We have picked the venue, I’ve ordered my dress, and all the rest of the big details are pretty solid. Thanks to rockstar parents, planning a wedding 11 hours away hasn’t been too shabby.
Managing sanity is a task with all the planning, but you won’ see me pulling this bridezilla stunt:
- I’m currently working for a pre-school in town and that has been quite an adjustment in itself. A room full of 18 three-year-olds gets pretty crazy but I feel like I’m living a constant episode of “Kids Say the Darndest Things.”
- Nashville is as awesome as it’s always been. Jeremy and I have been diving into a small group and we are so very thankful for all of our friends in that community….what a blessing to call so many people friends within such a short period of time.
- I’ve been dreamin’ up a stormlooks like a bit of rebrand is on its way for Amy Nicole Photography. I love this site dearly, but I’m hoping to head in a bit of a new direction here in Nashville. Stay tuned, it’s still in the works.
There ya have it friends. One post with a few sentences doesn’t do the past month much justice, but I miss blogging and I felt the urge for an update. The plan is discontinue this hiatus….until next time, have a fantastic week!
