| Being a Bookworm |

Happy Monday everyone!

I wanted to share a little book I’m reading with you. Thanks to my good friend, Chris Scott, I’m reading “Start With Why” by Simon Sinek.

Given that I’ve been constantly learning new things about myself since the day I arrived in Nashville, this book is a pretty natural choice for me right now. With a range of job transition, a passion to tell stories with my camera, and a desire to live an adventurous and abnormal life, this book is revving up the intricacies of my mind.

I’m only a couple of chapters in, but the topics that have already been covered are mind-blowing. The purpose of the book is to motivate a new wave of thinking…all starting with the question “Why?” He’s already covered a wide range of manipulatives and ideas used in America’s market today. Ranging from loyalty and customer service to extreme manipulatives that we fall for every day.

Can you believe that Colgate alone offers over 32 types of toothpaste? And that’s just one brand on the shelf. The marketing ploys are endless and the facts are sickening.

But, I’m not going to make too many assumptions or reveal too much about the book because I’m not far enough in to say too much….besides that I’m inspired and excited.
