You know you’ve found a wonderful couple when you’re holding the tears back through their slideshow. I’m not a crier, but these two had such an amazing and intentional wedding day, that I couldn’t help getting emotional going through the photographs.
Travis + Megan are two of the most kind-hearted people I’ve met. I met them about a year ago at a cookout for interns and previous interns for Mocha Club. Travis and I were both previous interns at Mocha Club, and he brought he sweet + pretty lady along. Little did I know, they remembered me months later after getting engaged this past winter.
From the second Travis emailed, I was SO hoping they would choose me to be their wedding photographer. I just knew these two knew what real love is all about and they were just joyous to get married. When they chose me as their photographer, I was elated. Hearing about all the little details as the planning came together made it even better.
Megan + Travis’s day was filled fun little details that were simple, yet so very elegant. Megan was absolutely breathtaking in her gown and these two together are just one stunning couple. The wedding + reception took place at The Anchor Fellowship downtown. This building was in the 1850s and served as a hospital during the civil war. It’s simple architecture and stained-glass window made for a beautiful space and the glowing vintage bulbs are always a favorite of mine.
Travis + Megan, thank you so incredibly much for allowing me to document your first day as husband + wife. May your marriage be blessed and so very full of laughter and incredible love!
