Kelly + Ryan: Engaged – Fort Worth, TX

December 30, 2013

Good morning and Happy Monday!

After a mini hiatus from blogging to enjoy the holidays, I figured I’d end the year with one of my favorite sessions of the year–my best friend’s engagement session!

Meet Kelly (my best friend!), and Ryan, her awesome fiance. They are getting married in March and Kelly has asked me to be her Matron of Honor–I am just so thrilled! I’ve been best friends with Kelly all through high school and college, and though we’ve spent the last 6 or so years living in different places, it’s just like old times when we’re back together.

Kelly is one of the kindest souls you’ll ever meet and. She dreams big, loves well and has a heart of gold for people. She’s been in Fort Worth for the past couple of years, as she was interning for Reformed University Fellowship at Texas Christian University. She decided to stay in Texas for a little while even though her internship had ended…low and behold, she met her man in Texas!

I went to Texas in December to do their engagement session, and also to meet Ryan! I hadn’t had the opportunity living so far away, and it was such a joy to finally meet her future husband. Ryan is incredibly kind and full of life, and I am so very excited for their new adventure!

Without further ado, enjoy their lovely session. And in case you’re wondering, yes, that’s snow and ice in Fort Worth. My first time in Fort Worth included ice and a 3 hour drive from Dallas to Fort Worth (just 40 miles!). I never thought that’d be the case, but I know it’s been quite the story to tell!

Congratulations Ryan + Kelly!!
