James 6 Months Film Family Session in Charlottesville

One of the most exciting things about photographing children and families is that each and every session is completely different and so unique depending on the children’s personalities, the setting, the season, you name it.

I was honored to photograph sweet James come into this world, and we photographed her first few days at home for her newborn session earlier this year in March. From day one, she had such a gentle and joyful spirit. It’s been a joy to watch her grow over the last few months. She’s already 6 months old and as precious as ever. From the moment I walked in, she giggled and kept the sweetest grin for her session.

What was even sweeter was watching her dear parents dote on her, as she had gained SO much personality in such a short time. James certainly kept us smiling for the entire session.

For her 6 months session, we decided to stick around their home, as they had moved shortly after welcoming James. We kept things simple, and I’m so glad we did, as I got to focus on all of her sweet features and that joyful smile of hers.
