Richmond Virginia Lifestyle Newborn Session: Barnes Camfield

When Rachel first reached out to me, I knew she and her soon-to-be family of three were something special. Rachel has a vibrance and warmth about her that simply can’t be described. I was thrilled at the opportunity to document this sweet season in her life. Her husband, Brian, matches her in warmth as I felt like I had known them for years from the moment they welcomed me in.

Rachel and Brian welcomed their first child, Barnes, in December and this little man is as sweet as they come. He was wonderfully alert, yet so relaxed for the entire session. He simply soaked in the snuggles and kisses wrapped up in their arms. Rachel & Brian waited to find out the gender until their sweet baby’s birthday, so they prepared with a lovely gender-neutral nursery. Its soft colors and incredible window light made for the best spot in the house for their session!
