Sneak Peek: Anniversary Getaway

Personal

I think one of the best things about a long weekend is that you come back to a 4-day work week, especially in the summer. I am a summer junkie to the fullest. I even love climbing into a hot car. Weird, I know, but I just love the heat and the sunshine. Sure, my hair hates the humidity, but not having to worry about being cold when going somewhere is my favorite.

The smell of sunscreen and the sound of the beautiful ocean makes summer all the sweeter. Jeremy and I had quite the stressful week last week, so knowing we had a mini vacation to lok forward to got us through the week. It was SO worth it. I feel so incredibly refreshed, and I even feel as if we were transported for the weekend. Sweet friends allowed us to stay in their loft at Rosemary Beach in Florida for the weekend and we couldn’t be more thankful.

After arriving Friday afternoon, we went straight to the beach just to get a glimpse and we were instantly taken aback. The teal blue water looked straight out of the movies. Not to mention the town of Rosemary Beach, a town straight out of Europe or the West Indies, talk about feeling like you’re in a different world.

All that to say, I wanted to give a little sneak peek, as I’ll bringing you a full post from our anniversary trip on Friday!

Ahh… so lovely. Thanks for sharing! Although I grew up in Florida I’ve never actually been to Rosemary Beach. The Atlantic side of the state is so much different. Brad and I are looking for a fun vacation. Any tips on where to go or stay in Rosemary? We were thinking of becoming true Tennesseans and heading to the panhandle in August.

It seriously was a dream weekend! I don’t have any tips on where to stay right now, but I can certainly ask our friends who own their loft. The area was so very family friendly and safe. Beautiful beaches too with hardly any waves= best for kids. I am so thankful we got to go, I hadn’t seen a beach that beautiful outside of our honeymoon!
