A Very Cherry Adventure: Year 2

Weddings

To say the last two years have been a whirlwind wouldn’t quite cut it. I can still replay every minute of our incredible wedding day from start to finish through my head. It was a day full of all of our favorite things and all of our favorite people, and most of all, it was our first day as husband and wife.

As a wedding photographer, I’ve seen so many beautiful couples celebrate with so many beautiful weddings….but when all of that excitement of the day fades, you’re left with marriage–the best part of it all. Jeremy and I have had so many adventures and life changes in the last two years and the adventures are only beginning. I love filling our shelves with photographs and photo books from our times and adventures together and I can only imagine what those shelves will hold one day and where those shelves will be.

I’m not the best writer (hence why I photograph stories instead of write them), so I’ll keep it short and sweet. Today, Jeremy and I celebrate a milestone. It has truly been two incredibly beautiful years that I can truly say have been the best years of my life…so I can only imagine what’s to come. We’ve learned so much together and seen so much together. I know challenges will come but so will many adventures. The fact that we get to do them together and that we get to do life together is something I pray I never take advantage of. Marriage is a recklessly beautiful thing. It’s a new and lovely choice each day. And, Jeremy, I will always choose you.

Here are just a few moments from our wedding day…to pick favorites is way too hard. To feel the liveliness of the day, feel free to watch our highlight video by the incredible Jon Combs here.

I take a limited number of sessions each month (plus, I’m a bit of a planner and always account for possible weather and sick days!) I’d love to set up a time to chat with you, hear your vision and answer any questions!
