Charlottesville Studio Newborn Session: McKenna Family

I always love getting to work in a new place with a new family. When Danielle first reached out about a newborn discussion, she mentioned possibly wanting her session done in a studio space. As the time inched closer for little John to arrive, we officially secured a local studio and I’m thrilled we did.

It was such a treat to work in a local studio full of beautiful light and a blank canvas. I just love how the blank canvas of crisp & clean walls really helps each child (and mom & dad!) to shine. Funny enough, it started snowing only an hour before the session so the light really wasn’t the best in most places due to the gray skies. But, since the studio has huge open windows and white walls, there was plenty of light to work with!
