Charlottesville At-Home One Year Session: James

Oh, the joy of watching a child grow. Now that I have a little of my own, I’m more in awe of how quickly they grow each and every day.

I constantly find myself thinking ” she’ll never be this little again” and I simply want to soak it up.

That’s why I find it such an honor to photograph the first year in a child’s life. Because, they’ll never be that little again. The growth that happens in the first year is astonishing and nothing short of amazing.

I photographed sweet James coming into this world, and then her parents chose to have a first year collection so I’ve photographed her as a newborn, a 6 month old and now a one year old! Her bubbly personality has only grown and she truly sprinkles joy wherever she goes. You truly can’t help but grin ear to ear with this girl!

We decided to photograph her one year session at home again, and it’s so fun to compare her growth since her 6 month session.She was quite the ham for this session and on the move! I got my workout trying to keep up with her, that’s for sure. Happy first birthday, Miss James. You are nothing but delight!
