Lilly Beth: Heirloom Book for Baby’s First Year

Before welcoming your first child, it’s hard to imagine how much your sweet baby will grow in their first year. After many, many family & baby sessions, I’m still astounded with the milestones of a child in the first 12 months. At each session, it’s hard to even recognize that sweet baby, as a few months can transform a child in size, and even more so, in personality. From swaddled up to walking around and giggling endlessly.

What’s even more of a treat, is delivering the heirloom book after the first year, as a child & family’s story comes full circle. Instead of trying to grasp their changes, you can see each season through pages you can hold. You can show your baby what they looked like only a few days old. When they are no longer babies, they’ll say “Momma, show me again how little I was!.” And one day, when they grow and welcome their children, you’ll have tangible photographs to share together in anticipation.

On the day this beautiful book arrived on the Dellinger family’s doorstep, they had welcomed their second daughter into the world just the day before.  So ironically beautiful.

I shared a story about heirlooms shortly after, and Kelly said it best herself….
