Mennemeyer Family: New York City Lifestyle Family Session

One of my favorite parts of photographing a child over the course of their first year of life is seeing their true personalities come to life. You may remember the Mennemeyer family from this little man’s newborn session in NYC and his six-month session in Nashville, TN right outside the venue where I photographed his sweet parents getting married in 2013. To say that I adore this family would be an understatement, as they have become sweet friends over the years!

Little Elliot was quite the busy body during this session, as most one-year olds are. His sweet little smirk and adorable red curls get me every time. To celebrate his first year, we roamed the neighborhood where he was brought home and continues to grow. And of course, we stopped by a favorite of mine, Washington Square Park. I love the charm of this part of the city!
