In-Home Lifestyle Session in Charlottesville, VA: April & Daniel

My favorite part of my job is that I get to meet so many people and document so many different stages of life. I first heard of April through Britt Davis, who you’ve seen grace the blog many a time with her beautiful family. April had created this gorgeous piece for Britt’s son’s nursery and it always stuck with me because I just loved it so much!

So, when we were expecting, I was researching nursery ideas and the colorful nurseries were always the one that stood out to me. I imagined our sweet Eisley being a girl with a bit of spunk and that a neutral nursery wouldn’t be as quite fitting for her. So, I reached out to April and we based Eisley’s nursery around a rug I had already purchased, and the focal point of her nursery would be a custom piece by April (which I’ll have to share with you guys!) It’s my favorite piece in her nursery and miss Eisley already loves it too!

April and her husband, Daniel, recently moved to North Carolina, but before they did, we did an at-home session to document this fun season in their lives. They adored their little home in Charlottesville, and the best part? They’re expecting! So, we simply documented this sweet time in their lives in the home they created here in Charlottesville so they’d always have photos to remember the life they built here.
