I had been looking forward to Megan & Michael’s wedding day since the day I met them, well, really, since they booked! These two had a joy that was simply contagious. They were thrilled to become husband & wife, and their celebration was such a reflection of that.
Megan & Michael married on a wonderful September day at Seven Springs, one of my favorite venues! It has such a great touch of colonial charm that is so unique to Virginia. The tree-lined driveway and the magnolias on the property are an extra magical touch. Lauren of For Love of Love brought such a simply beautiful design to their day, every detail was so well thought out.
From the moment I walked in to greet Megan, I knew it was going to be an amazing day. She was smiling from ear to ear, great music was blasting while all the bridesmaids got ready and if there were any nerves, I certainly didn’t see them. Once Megan & Michael shared their intimate first look, the day just kept getting better. They had the loveliest outdoor ceremony among the magnolia trees before digging up their bourbon, sharing a drink with their best friends and dancing the night away. They even ended the night with a private dance under the stars before making their grand exit. Talk about a romantic way to celebrate the end of your wedding day.
