Fall Barn at Edgewood Wedding: Sydney & Alex

I’m super excited to share today’s wedding because it’s not every day that you get to share your very own brother’s wedding!

What a treat it was to not only witness my brother marry the most amazing girl, but I had the joy of documenting their wedding (which I couldn’t have done without the amazing help of The Mallorys!), being Maid of Honor and obviously a part of the family. It was also such a sweet experience to be on the other side of it all again, because it gave me another new experience to bring to the table as a photographer. It reminded me of all the emotions that happen in a day, and what truly matters.

Sydney & Alex married in the mountains of Virginia at Barn at Edgewood just outside of Charlottesville. The forecast called for heavy rain all week, but thankfully, the skies parted just for their day and not a drop of rain fell! I loved seeing Sydney & Alex’s vision come to life after months of planning, and we were so grateful for the beautiful weather!

My brother was a ball of nerves and tears, rightfully so with Sydney being the vision that she is! His reaction as she walked down the aisle is a reaction I’m pretty sure none of us will forget!
