Genuine Summer Family Photos at Historic Tuckahoe in Richmond, VA

Late last summer, I met the Rudolph family at one of  my favorite locations, Historic Tuckahoe, just outside of Richmond, VA for their annual family photos. Plus, they were celebrating their youngest daughter’s first birthday along with their oldest daughter’s birthday as well. What we didn’t expect was a random 90+ degree day, as the days had  started to get cooler. But, you’d never guess it from the photos, because they were pure champs in dealing with the heat!

Their youngest daughter may or may not have lost her dress & romper by the end of the shoot, but I think a naked baby is always in style. I mean, their rolls don’t last forever, right?! And mama looked amazing in that gorgeous pop of blue…color is always  welcome in my book! After all, family photos should truly reflect who you are as a family, maybe the best version of yourselves outside of leggings and t-shirts, but a reflection of your family nonetheless! Lastly, the Rudolph family chose a  gorgeous framed collection to enjoy their photos, and I’m just in love with how it turned out! It was such a treat to design this gallery for them and to see it come to life on their walls. Below is the mock-up design, and they chose the lovely Champagne frame as a classic, yet modern touch.
