Baby’s 6 Month Photos at UVA in Charlottesville, VA

Documenting families as they welcome their first child is such a treat, as so much transformation happens in that first year, but really it’s only the beginning. Then, to have the honor of photographing families as they grow and more sweet babies is something I’ll just never tire of!

This family welcomed me to document their son’s first year of life, and now, I’ve had the joy of documenting their daughter’s first year. Even sweeter, we planned her 6 month session at UVA where we did her brother’s 6 month old session just a few years prior. Plus, their parents have a long history with UVA, so it makes it all the more intentional and the prefect setting!

We met for an early morning session this summer, and it’s one of my favorite times to shoot at UVA. The light is so soft and warm in the morning, with countless amazing spots to choose from!Plus, you add a sweet & happy baby, and it’s bound to be an amazing session. So, if you’re looking for a perfect morning session spot (sometimes morning sessions are better for kids!), then UVA should definitely be on your list.
